The Street Plans Collaborative Aids Vision Long Island Hicksville Revitalization Workshop.

Mike Lydon of The Street Plans Collaborative joined Vision Long Island this weekend in a workshop to help Hicksville, NY define a vision for downtown revitalization. Using the town's Long Island Railroad station as a catalyst for transit-oriented development, Vision Long Island is helping the town of 40,000 craft a vision for reclaiming the town's formerly walkable urban pattern through a focus on infill residential and commercial development and traffic-calming.
