Implementation of Bicycle Master Plan Helps Miami Reverse Poor Reputation.

In 2008 Bicycle Magazine ranked Miami as one of the top three worst American cities in which to bicycle. The Miami Bicycle Master Plan, undertaken in 2009 and led by The Street Plans Collaborative, set out to make Miami a more bicycle-friendly city. In short order, the implementation of the master plan and the on-going success of Bike Miami Days and Bike Miami Rides has helped the city become the 44th most bicycle-friendly city in America.
